Who is your online personal trainer?
Sarah Ostroski has worked as a personal trainer for over 14 years. She is an American College of Sports Medicine nationally certified Exercise Physiologist. Sarah has a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Eastern University and a Master of Science in Kinesiology: Integrative Exercise Physiology from Temple University.
Paired with her extensive educational background, Sarah is also an adjunct professor in the Kinesiology department at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. She teaches strength training as well as the physiology of exercise and aging.
Sarah has been in the fitness industry for most of her life. As a child, she danced in the styles of tap, jazz and ballet. She additionally studied Yoga and Pilates to complement her dancing experience. Sarah has also been an avid runner, and has participated in multiple races such as: Miles for Matheny 5K, Rocky Run 5K, Rugged Maniac 5K Mud Run, The Midland Run 15k, 10 Mile Men’s Health Urbanathlon Relay, The Philadelphia Marathon (26.2 Miles), and various other racing events. Since retiring from running, she joined the Trixies Pixies professional bodybuilding sports team and began competing in the bikini and figure divisions within the NPC.
Sarah also thoroughly enjoys hiking. Over the last 10 years, she has hiked to the Mauna Kea observatories on the Big Island of Hawaii, Haleakala Volcano in Maui and Rim to Rim across the Grand Canyon. She spends her recreational time hiking state and national American parks with her husband, Mark.
